حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ لِصَاحِبِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ أَنْصِتْ فَقَدْ لَغَا.

Yahya told us, from Malik, who said: al-Zuhri told me, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "If a man says to his companion on Friday, while the imam is delivering the sermon, 'Be quiet,' he has spoken idly."
