Was this decreed for me before I was created, or was it recorded afterward?' Moses said, 'No, rather it was already decreed.' So Adam prevailed over Moses in argument, Adam prevailed over Moses, peace be upon them both." Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad narrated to us, from Ammar ibn Abi Ammar, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - and Humayd, from al-Hasan, from a man - Hammad said: I think he was Jundub ibn Abd Allah al-Bajali - from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: "Adam met Moses," and he mentioned its like.
