حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ قَدْ كَفَاهُ حَرَّهُ وَعَمَلَهُ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ يَأْكُلُ مَعَهُ أَوْ يُنَاوِلْهُ لُقْمَةً.

Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, he said: Hammad narrated to us, from Ammar, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah narrate from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: "When the servant of one of you brings his food, having spared him its heat and labor, let him seat him to eat with him, or at least give him a mouthful."
