Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Hisham ibn Hassan al-Qurdusi narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "A good deed is rewarded tenfold, and fasting is for Me and I shall reward for it. He leaves his food and drink for My sake. Fasting is for Me and I shall reward for it, and the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah the Almighty than the fragrance of musk."
