حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يُقَرِّبُ مِنْ ابْنِ آدَمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَكُنْ اللَّهُ قَدَّرَهُ لَهُ وَلَكِنَّ النَّذْرَ مُوَافِقٌ الْقَدَرَ فَيُخْرَجُ بِذَلِكَ مِنْ الْبَخِيلِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ الْبَخِيلُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed, a vow does not bring the son of Adam anything that Allah has not already decreed for him. But the vow coincides with the decree, and through it is extracted from the miser what the miser did not intend to give.'
