حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ جَوْسٍ الْهِفَّانِيُّ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ كَانَ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ رَجُلَانِ أَحَدُهُمَا مُجْتَهِدٌ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ وَالْآخَرُ مُسْرِفٌ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَكَانَا مُتَآخِيَيْنِ فَكَانَ الْمُجْتَهِدُ لَا يَزَالُ يَرَى عَلَى الْآخَرِ ذَنْبًا فَيَقُولُ وَيْحَكَ أَقْصِرْ فَيَقُولُ الْمُذْنِبُ خَلِّنِي وَرَبِّي فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'There were two men among the Children of Israel who were close to one another. One of them was diligent in worship and the other was sinful. The devout one kept seeing the other committing sins and saying: Woe to you, desist! The sinner would say: Leave me and my Lord.' He then mentioned something similar to the hadith of Abu Amir.
