حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْوِصَالَ كَذَاكَ عِلْمِي قَالُوا إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Rahman told us, from Malik, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Beware of consecutive fasting without breaking it" - "that is my understanding of it too" - they said: "But you fast consecutively!" He said: "I am not like any of you; I spend the night while my Lord feeds me and gives me drink."
