حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُصُّوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى.

Hushaym told us, from Umar ibn Abi Salamah, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Trim the mustaches and let the beards grow.
