حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ التُّجِيبِيُّ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قَبِيلٍ الْمِصْرِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ مَاتَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَوْ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ وُقِيَ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ.

Ibrahim ibn Abi al-Abbas told us: Baqiyyah told us: Mu'awiyah ibn Sa'id al-Tujibi told me: I heard Abu Qabil al-Misri say: I heard Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever dies on Friday or the night preceding Friday is protected from the trial of the grave.
