حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ قَالَ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الْوَهَّابِ وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ يَعْنِي حُسَيْنًا عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ وَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي حَافِيًا وَمُنْتَعِلًا وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَيُفْطِرُ وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَشْرَبُ قَاعِدًا وَقَائِمًا.

Abd al-Wahhab told us: Sa'id told us, from Husayn al-Mu'allim - Abd al-Wahhab said: and I heard it from him myself, meaning Husayn - from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, turn away, after prayer, from his right and from his left, and I saw him pray barefoot and with sandals on, and I saw him fast while traveling and break his fast, and I saw him drink sitting and standing.
