Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: Ma'mar informed us from al-Zuhri from Urwah from Abdullah ibn Amr who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah does not take away knowledge from the people after He has given it to them, but rather the scholars pass away, each one taking his knowledge with him, until when no scholar remains, the people take ignorant leaders who are asked and give rulings without knowledge, so they go astray and lead others astray."
