حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ نَفَرًا كَانُوا جُلُوسًا بِبَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَلَمْ يَقُلْ اللَّهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَلَمْ يَقُلْ اللَّهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَسَمِعَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجَ كَأَنَّمَا فُقِئَ فِي وَجْهِهِ حَبُّ الرُّمَّانِ فَقَالَ بِهَذَا أُمِرْتُمْ أَوْ بِهَذَا بُعِثْتُمْ أَنْ تَضْرِبُوا كِتَابَ اللَّهِ بَعْضَهُ بِبَعْضٍ إِنَّمَا ضَلَّتْ الْأُمَمُ قَبْلَكُمْ فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا إِنَّكُمْ لَسْتُمْ مِمَّا هَاهُنَا فِي شَيْءٍ انْظُرُوا الَّذِي أُمِرْتُمْ بِهِ فَاعْمَلُوا بِهِ وَالَّذِي نُهِيتُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ وَمَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ وَدَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ وَهُمْ يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِي الْقَدَرِ هَذَا يَنْزِعُ آيَةً وَهَذَا يَنْزِعُ آيَةً فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Isma'il narrated to us: Dawud ibn Abi Hind narrated from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather that a group of people were sitting at the door of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Some of them said: "Did Allah not say such and such?" Others said: "Did Allah not say such and such?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) heard that and came out as if pomegranate seeds had burst on his face, and said: "Is this what you were commanded to do, or is this what you were sent for - to strike parts of the Book of Allah against other parts? The nations before you were only led astray by the likes of this. You have nothing to do with this matter. Look at what you have been commanded to do and do it, and what you have been forbidden from, refrain from it." Yunus narrated to us: Hammad - meaning Ibn Salamah - narrated from Humayd, Matar al-Warraq, and Dawud ibn Abi Hind from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out to his companions while they were disputing about predestination, each one citing a verse - and he mentioned the hadith.
