Abu al-Nadr and Husayn narrated: Muhammad narrated from Sulayman from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: The supplications of a servant will continue to be answered as long as he does not supplicate for sin or for severing family ties, and as long as he is not hasty. It was asked: O Messenger of Allah, what does being hasty mean? He said: He says: I have supplicated and supplicated, but I do not see any response. Then he becomes frustrated and gives up supplication.
