Yahya, meaning Ibn Sa'id, narrated from Shu'bah, Amr ibn Murrah narrated to me: I heard a man in the house of Abu Ubaydah who heard Abdullah ibn Amr narrating to Ibn Umar that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: Whoever shows off with his deeds, Allah will make the creation hear about him and will make him insignificant and despised. He said: And Abdullah's eyes shed tears.
