Abdullah said: I found this hadith in my father's book in his own handwriting — Ali ibn Hafs narrated to us, Warqa narrated from Ata, meaning Ibn al-Sa'ib, from Ibn Jubayr regarding 'Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar' — it is abundant goodness. And Ata narrated from Muharib ibn Dithar from Ibn Umar who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) told us: Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise; its banks are of gold, and water flows over pearls. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. This is the end of the Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both.
