Abdur-Razzaq told us, Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash and Layth, from Mujahid, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Give women permission to go to the mosque at night. His son said to him: By Allah, we will not give them permission, for they would take that as an occasion for mischief. He said: May Allah do such to you, may Allah do such to you! You hear me say the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said this, and you say no? Layth said: But let them go out unperfumed.
