حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ تَمَتَّعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ بِالْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ وَأَهْدَى فَسَاقَ مَعَهُ الْهَدْيَ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَبَدَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَهَلَّ بِالْعُمْرَةِ ثُمَّ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ وَتَمَتَّعَ النَّاسُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ فَإِنَّ مِنْ النَّاسِ مَنْ أَهْدَى فَسَاقَ الْهَدْيَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَمْ يُهْدِ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكَّةَ قَالَ لِلنَّاسِ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ أَهْدَى فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَحِلُّ مِنْ شَيْءٍ حَرُمَ مِنْهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَجَّهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أَهْدَى فَلْيَطُفْ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَلْيُقَصِّرْ وَلْيَحْلِلْ ثُمَّ لِيُهِلَّ بِالْحَجِّ وَلْيُهْدِ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ هَدْيًا فَلْيَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فِي الْحَجِّ وَسَبْعَةً إِذَا رَجَعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ وَطَافَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ قَدِمَ مَكَّةَ اسْتَلَمَ الرُّكْنَ أَوَّلَ شَيْءٍ ثُمَّ خَبَّ ثَلَاثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ مِنْ السَّبْعِ وَمَشَى أَرْبَعَةَ أَطْوَافٍ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ حِينَ قَضَى طَوَافَهُ بِالْبَيْتِ عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَانْصَرَفَ فَأَتَى الصَّفَا فَطَافَ بِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْلِلْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ حَرُمَ مِنْهُ حَتَّى قَضَى حَجَّهُ وَنَحَرَ هَدْيَهُ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَأَفَاضَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ حَلَّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَرُمَ مِنْهُ وَفَعَلَ مِثْلَ مَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَهْدَى وَسَاقَ الْهَدْيَ مِنْ النَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي تَمَتُّعِهِ بِالْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ وَتَمَتُّعِ النَّاسِ مَعَهُ بِمِثْلِ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Hajjaj told us; Layth told us, who said: Uqayl told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim ibn Abdullah: that Abdullah ibn Umar said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed tamattu' in the Farewell Pilgrimage, combining umrah with hajj, and he brought a sacrificial animal, driving the offering with him from Dhu al-Hulayfah. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, began by entering ihram for umrah, then entered ihram for hajj, and the people performed tamattu' with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, combining umrah with hajj. Some of the people had brought sacrificial animals and drove the offering, while others had not brought any. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived in Mecca, he said to the people: "Whoever among you has brought a sacrificial animal, he may not exit ihram from anything that became forbidden to him until he completes his hajj. And whoever among you has not brought a sacrificial animal, let him circumambulate the House and go between al-Safa and al-Marwah, then let him trim his hair and exit ihram, then enter ihram for hajj and offer a sacrifice. Whoever cannot find a sacrificial animal, let him fast three days during the hajj and seven when he returns to his family." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, circumambulated when he arrived in Mecca - he touched the corner first, then he trotted for three of the seven circuits and walked for four circuits. Then, when he finished his circumambulation of the House, he prayed two rak'ahs at the Station, then gave the salutation and departed. He then went to al-Safa and went between al-Safa and al-Marwah, but he did not exit ihram from anything that became forbidden until he completed his hajj and slaughtered his offering on the day of sacrifice. He then proceeded and circumambulated the House, and then he exited ihram from everything that had become forbidden to him. And whoever among the people had brought an offering and driven it did the same as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did. Hajjaj told us; Layth told us; Uqayl told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr: that Aishah informed him about the Messenger of Allah's, peace and blessings be upon him, tamattu' combining umrah with hajj, and the people's tamattu' with him, the same as what Salim ibn Abdullah informed me from Abdullah from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
