Ya'qub told us: My father told us, from Ibn Ishaq: Nafi' told me, from Ibn Umar, who said: There was a man from the Ansar who was always being cheated in trading, and he had an impediment in his speech, so he complained to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, of what he suffered from being cheated. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: 'When you make a transaction, say: No deception (la khilabah).' Ibn Umar said: By Allah, it is as though I can hear him now, transacting and saying, 'No deception,' stammering with his tongue.
