حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَى عُمَرَ بِحُلَّةٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ أَوْ سِيَرَاءَ أَوْ نَحْوِ هَذَا فَرَآهَا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَمْ أُرْسِلْ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ لِتَلْبَسَهَا إِنَّمَا هِيَ ثِيَابُ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ إِنَّمَا بَعَثْتُ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ لِتَسْتَنْفِعَ بِهَا حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَى عُمَرَ بِحُلَّةٍ فَذَكَرَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hashim b. al-Qasim told us, Shu'bah told us, from Abu Bakr b. Hafs, from Salim b. Abdullah, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Umar a garment of silk, or striped silk, or something similar. He saw it on him and said: "I did not send it to you to wear it; it is only the clothing of one who has no share in the Hereafter. I only sent it to you so you could make use of it." Aswad told us, Shu'bah told us, from Abu Bakr b. Hafs, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Umar a garment, and he mentioned it.
