Affan told us: Sakhr, meaning Ibn Juwayriyah, told us: Nafi' told us: that Abdullah ibn Umar informed him: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When a man says to his companion, O disbeliever, it applies to one of the two of them: if the one it was said to is indeed a disbeliever, then so be it, otherwise it returns upon the one who said it.
