حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَافَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ فَلَمْ أَرَهُمَا يَزِيدَانِ عَلَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكُنَّا ضُلَّالًا فَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ بِهِ فَبِهِ نَقْتَدِي.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Affan told us: Hammam told us: Matar told us, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, from his father, who said: We traveled with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and with 'Umar, and I never saw them exceed two rak'ahs, and we were astray, but Allah guided us through him, so by him we take our example.
