حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ زَيْدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ بِأَسْفَلِ بَلْدَحَ وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوَحْيُ فَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُفْرَةً فِيهَا لَحْمٌ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ وَقَالَ إِنِّي لَا آكُلُ مِمَّا تَذْبَحُونَ عَلَى أَنْصَابِكُمْ وَلَا آكُلُ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرْ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Adam told us, Zuhayr told us, Musa ibn Uqbah told us, Salim ibn Abdullah informed me that he heard Ibn Umar narrating from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: that he met Zayd ibn Amr ibn Nufayl at the lower part of Baldah, and that was before the revelation had come down upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, set before him a spread of food containing meat, but he refused to eat from it and said, "I do not eat what you slaughter upon your altars, and I do not eat what has not had the name of Allah mentioned over it."
