حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَتَشٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ خَرَجَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَى عَلَى عُطَارِدٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ وَهُوَ يُقِيمُ حُلَّةً مِنْ حَرِيرٍ يَبِيعُهَا فَأَتَى عُمَرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَأَيْتُ عُطَارِدًا يَبِيعُ حُلَّتَهُ فَاشْتَرِيهَا تَلْبَسْهَا إِذَا أَتَاكَ وُفُودُ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Atash told us, Ja'far ibn Sulayman told us, from Hisham ibn Hassan, from Ibn Sirin, from Ibn Umar, who said: Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, went out intending to see the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he came upon Utarid, a man from Banu Tamim, who was displaying a silk garment for sale. So Umar went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah, I saw Utarid selling his garment; buy it and wear it when delegations of people come to you. He said: Only one who has no share in the Hereafter wears silk.
