حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ بَيَانٍ عَنْ وَبَرَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَنَحْنُ نَرْجُو أَنْ يُحَدِّثَنَا حَدِيثًا أَوْ حَدِيثًا حَسَنًا فَبَدَرَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنَّا يُقَالُ لَهُ الْحَكَمُ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الْقِتَالِ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ قَالَ ثَكِلَتْكَ أُمُّكَ وَهَلْ تَدْرِي مَا الْفِتْنَةُ إِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُقَاتِلُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَكَانَ الدُّخُولُ فِيهِمْ أَوْ فِي دِينِهِمْ فِتْنَةً وَلَيْسَ كَقِتَالِكُمْ عَلَى الْمُلْكِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan narrated to us: Zuhayr narrated to us, from Bayan, from Wabarah, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, who said: Abdullah ibn Umar came out to us, and we were hoping he would relate to us some good hadith, when a man among us named al-Hakam spoke up first and said: "O Abu Abd al-Rahman, what do you say about fighting in the fitnah?" He said: "May your mother be bereaved of you, do you even know what fitnah is? Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, used to fight the polytheists, and entering into their fold or their religion was fitnah - it is not like your fighting over kingship."
