حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَكَانَ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّهُ فِي بَاطِنِ يَدِهِ قَالَ فَطَرَحَهُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ فَكَانَ يَخْتِمُ بِهِ وَلَا يَلْبَسُهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan narrated to us: Abu Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had a ring of gold, and he used to turn its stone toward the inside of his hand. Then one day he cast it away, and the people cast away their rings too. Then he took a ring of silver, and he used to seal with it but not wear it (as an ornament).
