قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ وَكَانَ فِي النُّسْخَةِ الَّتِي قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ نَافِعٍ فَغَيَّرَهُ فَقَالَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءَ رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi: Malik, from Abdullah ibn Dinar, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, used to - and in the copy that I read to Abd al-Rahman it was "Nafi'" but he changed it and said "Abdullah ibn Dinar" - he used to come to Quba' both riding and walking.
