حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ إِنْ أَسْعَى فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْعَى وَإِنْ أَمْشِي فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْشِي وَأَنَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' narrated to us, from his father, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Kathir ibn Jumhan, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: 'If I run, I have indeed seen the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, run; and if I walk, I have indeed seen the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, walk; and I am now a very old man.'
