حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ، قَالَ لَمَّا أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ عَطِشَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَرُّوا بِرَاعِي غَنَمٍ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَأَخَذْتُ قَدَحًا فَحَلَبْتُ فِيهِ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُثْبَةً مِنْ لَبَنٍ فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهِ فَشَرِبَ حَتَّى رَضِيتُ.

Al-Bara` said: When the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came from Makkah to Madinah, the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) got thirsty. They passed by a herd of sheep, Hadrat Abu Bakr as Siddeeq said: I took a cup and milked a cupful of milk for the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). I brought it to him and he drank until I was pleased,
