حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الطَّائِفِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمِقْدَامِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا لَكَ لَا تَرْمُلُ فَقَالَ قَدْ رَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَرَكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Abd al-Malik ibn al-Mughirah al-Ta'ifi, from Abdullah ibn al-Miqdam, who said: I saw Ibn Umar walking between al-Safa and al-Marwah, so I said to him: O Abu Abd al-Rahman, why do you not perform raml (brisk pace)? He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, performed raml and also left it (at times).
