حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَىِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ يَحْيَى أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَهُ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ لَا تَرَوْنَ الْقَتْلَ شَيْئًا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلثَّمَادَةِ لَا يَنْتَجِي اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid told us: Yahya — meaning Ibn Sa'id — informed us, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, who informed him that a man informed him, from his father Yahya, that he was with Abdullah ibn Umar; and that Abdullah ibn Umar said to him, during the time of civil strife: 'Do you not consider killing to be something serious?' And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said regarding the group: 'Two people should not converse privately excluding their companion.'
