Waki' told us, from Sufyan, from Layth, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, took hold of part of my body and said, "O 'Abdullah, be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveller passing through, and count yourself among the dead."
