حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَدْ أُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي الضَّبَّ فَلَمْ يَأْكُلْهُ وَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهُ.

Isma'il told us, Ayyub told us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: It, meaning the dabb lizard, was brought to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but he did not eat it, nor did he forbid it.
