حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ مَوْلًى لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَدَّمَ ثَلَاثَةً لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ كَانُوا لَهُ حِصْنًا حَصِينًا مِنْ النَّارِ فَقَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ قَدَّمْتُ اثْنَيْنِ قَالَ وَاثْنَيْنِ فَقَالَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ سَيِّدُ الْقُرَّاءِ قَدَّمْتُ وَاحِدًا قَالَ وَوَاحِدٌ وَلَكِنْ ذَاكَ فِي أَوَّلِ صَدْمَةٍ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ مَوْلًى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ لَمْ أُقَدِّمْ إِلَّا اثْنَيْنِ وَكَذَا حَدَّثَنَاهُ يَزِيدُ أَيْضًا قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ مَضَى لِي اثْنَانِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْعَوَّامُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ خَالَفَا هُشَيْمًا فَقَالَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed — I do not know whether he added or omitted — then when he gave the salam, it was said to him: O Messenger of Allah, has something new been ordained regarding the prayer? He said: What is that? They said: You prayed such-and-such. So he folded his legs, faced the qiblah, and performed two prostrations, then gave the salam and said: If something new had been ordained regarding the prayer, I would have informed you. But I am only a human being, I forget as you forget. When I forget, remind me. And when one of you is in doubt during his prayer, let him try to get it right and complete his prayer accordingly, then give the salam and perform two prostrations.'
