حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنَّا إِذَا قَعَدْنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ قُلْنَا السَّلَامُ عَلَى اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ رَبِّنَا السَّلَامُ عَلَى جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ السَّلَامُ عَلَى فُلَانٍ السَّلَامُ عَلَى فُلَانٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ السَّلَامُ فَإِذَا قَعَدْتُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقُولُوا التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا قَالَ ذَلِكَ أَصَابَتْ كُلَّ عَبْدٍ صَالِحٍ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ثُمَّ يَتَخَيَّرُ مِنْ الْكَلَامِ مَا شَاءَ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ أَيْضًا إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بِمِثْلِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id told us, Za'idah told us, al-A'mash told us, from Shaqiq, from Abdullah, who said: "We used to, when we sat in prayer, say: 'Peace be upon Allah, peace be upon us from our Lord, peace be upon Gabriel and Michael, peace be upon so-and-so, peace be upon so-and-so.' So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Indeed Allah is al-Salam; so when you sit in prayer, say: At-tahiyyatu lillahi wa-s-salawatu wa-t-tayyibat, Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings, Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah - for when one says that, it reaches every righteous servant in the heaven and the earth - I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Then let him choose from speech whatever he wishes.'" Sulayman said: "Ibrahim also related it to me, from al-Aswad, from Abdullah, similarly."
