حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَمُحَقَّرَاتِ الذُّنُوبِ فَإِنَّهُنَّ يَجْتَمِعْنَ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ حَتَّى يُهْلِكْنَهُ وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَرَبَ لَهُنَّ مَثَلًا كَمَثَلِ قَوْمٍ نَزَلُوا أَرْضَ فَلَاةٍ فَحَضَرَ صَنِيعُ الْقَوْمِ فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يَنْطَلِقُ فَيَجِيءُ بِالْعُودِ وَالرَّجُلُ يَجِيءُ بِالْعُودِ حَتَّى جَمَعُوا سَوَادًا فَأَجَّجُوا نَارًا وَأَنْضَجُوا مَا قَذَفُوا فِيهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sulayman ibn Dawud told us: 'Imran told us, from Qatadah, from 'Abd Rabbihi, from Abu 'Iyad, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Beware of the sins deemed insignificant, for they gather upon a man until they destroy him.' And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave a parable for them, like a people who camped in an open desert land, and the time came for them to prepare their food, so one man went and brought a stick, and another man brought a stick, until they had gathered a large pile, and they lit a fire and thoroughly cooked whatever they threw into it.
