He said: And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Allah is more joyful at the repentance of one of you than a man who went out into a desolate land" — then Abu Mu’awiyah said: they both said: "Abdullah told us two narrations, one about himself and the other from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him" — "a perilous land, having with him his riding beast carrying his provisions, food, drink, and all he needed, and it strayed from him, so he went out searching for it, until when death was about to overtake him, he said, ‘I will return to the place where it strayed from me and die there.’" He said: "So he returned and was overcome by sleep; then he woke and found his riding beast at his head with his provisions, food, drink, and all he needed on it."
