حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَهُمَا يَطُوفَانِ حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ فَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَيْنِ وَكَانَ مُعَاوِيَةُ يَسْتَلِمُ الْأَرْكَانَ كُلَّهَا فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَسْتَلِمُ إِلَّا هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ الْيَمَانِيَ وَالْأَسْوَدَ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَيْسَ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ مَهْجُورٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Rawh told us: al-Thawri told us: Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Khuthaym told us, from Abu al-Tufayl, who said: "I was with Mu'awiyah and Ibn Abbas while they were circumambulating the House. Ibn Abbas would touch only the two corners, while Mu'awiyah would touch all the corners. Ibn Abbas said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would touch only these two corners, the Yemeni and the Black one.'" Mu'awiyah said: "None of it is to be neglected."
