حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ مَا صَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهْرًا كَامِلًا قَطُّ غَيْرَ رَمَضَانَ وَكَانَ إِذَا صَامَ صَامَ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْقَائِلُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُفْطِرُ وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى إِذَا أَفْطَرَ يَقُولُ الْقَائِلُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يَصُومُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to let his hair hang down, and the polytheists used to part their hair. The People of the Book used to let their hair hang down, and he liked to follow the People of the Book in matters where no command had been given. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) began parting his hair.
