حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخِيَارِكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَى قَالَ فَخِيَارُكُمْ الَّذِينَ إِذَا رُءُوا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِشِرَارِكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَى قَالَ فَشِرَارُكُمْ الْمُفْسِدُونَ بَيْنَ الْأَحِبَّةِ الْمَشَّاءُونَ بِالنَّمِيمَةِ الْبَاغُونَ الْبُرَآءَ الْعَنَتَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ali ibn Asim narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Khuthaym informed me, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Asma' bint Yazid al-Ansariyyah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you of the best among you?" They said: "Yes." He said: "The best of you are those whom, when they are seen, Allah the Exalted is remembered. Shall I not inform you of the worst among you?" They said: "Yes." He said: "The worst of you are those who cause corruption between loved ones, the tale-bearers, those who seek to burden the innocent with trouble."
