حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ حَدَّثَنِي شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْخَيْلُ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ مَعْقُودٌ أَبَدًا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَمَنْ رَبَطَهَا عُدَّةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَأَنْفَقَ عَلَيْهَا احْتِسَابًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ شِبَعَهَا وَجُوعَهَا وَرِيَّهَا وَظَمَأَهَا وَأَرْوَاثَهَا وَأَبْوَالَهَا فَلَاحٌ فِي مَوَازِينِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَبَطَهَا رِيَاءً وَسُمْعَةً وَفَرَحًا وَمَرَحًا فَإِنَّ شِبَعَهَا وَجُوعَهَا وَرِيَّهَا وَظَمَأَهَا وَأَرْوَاثَهَا وَأَبْوَالَهَا خُسْرَانٌ فِي مَوَازِينِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, Shahr ibn Hawshab narrated to me. He said: Asma' bint Yazid narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Goodness is tied in the forelocks of horses forever until the Day of Resurrection. Whoever ties a horse as preparation in the path of Allah and spends on it seeking reward in the path of Allah, then its filling and its hunger, its drinking and its thirst, its dung and its urine will be prosperity in his scales on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever ties a horse for showing off, vanity, joy, and frivolity, then its filling and its hunger, its drinking and its thirst, its dung and its urine will be loss in his scales on the Day of Resurrection."
