حَدَّثَنَا عَلِىُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ مَوْلَى بَنِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مَرَّ بِهِ وَهُوَ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا بِدِمَشْقَ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَتَفْعَلُ هَذَا وَأَنْتَ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيَّ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ غَرَسَ غَرْسًا لَمْ يَأْكُلْ مِنْهُ آدَمِيٌّ وَلَا خَلْقٌ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ أَبِي قَالَ الْأَشْجَعِيُ يَعْنِي عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي زِيَادٍ دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ali ibn Bahr narrated to us, Baqiyyah narrated to us, Thabit ibn Ajlan narrated to us, al-Qasim, the freed slave of Banu Yazid, narrated to me, from Abu al-Darda', that a man passed by him while he was planting a plant in Damascus and said to him: "You do this while you are a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He said: "Do not be hasty with me. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Whoever plants a plant, no human being or any creature of Allah the Almighty eats from it except that it will be counted as charity for him.'" Abdullah said: My father said: Al-Ashja'i said, meaning from Sufyan, from al-A'mash, from Abu Ziyad: "I entered the mosque of Damascus."
