حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ وَاهبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قَالَ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قُلْتُ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قَالَ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قُلْتُ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قَالَ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ عَلَى رَغْمِ أَنْفِ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ فَخَرَجْتُ لِأُنَادِيَ بِهَا فِي النَّاسِ قَالَ فَلَقِيَنِي عُمَرُ فَقَالَ ارْجِعْ فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ إِنْ عَلِمُوا بِهَذِهِ اتَّكَلُوا عَلَيْهَا فَرَجَعْتُ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَ عُمَرُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Wahib ibn Abdullah, that Abu al-Darda' said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever says 'La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah (There is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner)' will enter Paradise." He said: I said, "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals?" He said: "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals." I said: "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals?" He said: "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals." I said: "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals?" He said: "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals, despite the nose of Abu al-Darda'." He said: So I went out to proclaim it among the people. He said: Then Umar met me and said: "Go back, for if people know about this, they will rely on it." So I went back and informed him (the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said: "Umar spoke the truth."
