Waki' told us: Sufyan and Abd al-Rahman - from Sufyan - told us, from Musa b. Abi Aishah, from a freed slave of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah - Abd al-Rahman said in his narration, "from someone who heard Umm Salamah relate" - that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say after the dawn prayer, once he had prayed: "O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, acceptable deeds, and wholesome provision." Muhammad b. Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Musa b. Abi Aishah, from a freed slave of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say, when he prayed the dawn prayer, at the moment of the salutation, and he mentioned it.
