حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ دَخَلَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي مَنْ لَا يَرَانِي بَعْدَ أَنْ يُفَارِقَنِي قَالَ فَأَتَى عُمَرَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ قَالَ فَأَتَاهَا عُمَرُ فَقَالَ أُذَكِّرُكِ اللَّهَ أَمِنْهُمْ أَنَا قَالَتْ اللَّهُمَّ لَا وَلَنْ أُبْلِيَ أَحَدًا بَعْدَكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated to us by Abd al-Razzaq, who said: Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Wa'il, who said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf went in to see Umm Salamah, and she said to him: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Among my Companions there is one who will not see me again after he parts from me.'" He said: So he went to Umar and mentioned that to him. He said: So Umar came to her and said, "I ask you by Allah, am I one of them?" She said: "By Allah, no, and I will never clear anyone else after you."
