حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْمَرَائِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ.

Hammad b. Mas'adah told us, Maymun b. Musa al-Mara'i told us, from al-Hasan, from his mother, from Umm Salamah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs after the Witr prayer while sitting.
