حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مَمْلَكٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَقِرَاءَتِهِ فَقَالَتْ مَا لَكُمْ وَلِصَلَاتِهِ وَلِقِرَاءَتِهِ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَدْرَ مَا يَنَامُ وَيَنَامُ قَدْرَ مَا يُصَلِّي وَإِذَا هِيَ تَنْعَتُ قِرَاءَةً مُفَسَّرَةً حَرْفًا حَرْفًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya b. Ishaq told us, he said Layth b. Sa'd informed me, he said 'Abdullah b. Abi Mulaykah told us, from Ya'la b. Mamlak, who said: I asked Umm Salamah about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at night, and his recitation. She said, "What concern is it of yours, his prayer and his recitation? He used to pray for as long as he would sleep, and sleep for as long as he would pray." And she described a recitation, clearly enunciated letter by letter.
