حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرٍ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى الشَّيْءَ مِنْ الدَّمِ يَرِيبُهَا بَعْدَ الطُّهْرِ قَالَتْ إِنَّمَا هُوَ عِرْقٌ أَوْ عُرُوقٌ.

Hasan ibn Musa and Husayn ibn Muhammad told us: Shayban told us, from Yahya, from Abu Salamah, from Umm Bakr, who informed him that Aisha said, concerning a woman who sees some blood that troubles her after her period of purity: It is only from a vein or veins.
