Yunus and Hasan ibn Musa told us, Hammad -- that is Ibn Salama -- told us, from Ali ibn Zayd, from al-Hasan, that Umm Salama said -- al-Hasan said, from Umm Salama, she said: "While the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was lying down in my house, he suddenly sat up abruptly, saying the words of return to Allah. I said, 'May my father and mother be your ransom, what is the matter, O Messenger of Allah, that you say the words of return?' He said: 'An army from my nation will come from the direction of Syria, heading for the House to attack a man whom Allah will protect from them; until, when they are at al-Bayda near Dhu al-Hulayfa, they will be swallowed up by the earth, though their places of departure differ.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, how can they all be swallowed up together while their places of departure differ?' He said: 'Among them there will be some who were compelled -- among them there will be some who were compelled' -- three times." Hasan told us, Hammad ibn Salama told us, from Abu Imran al-Jawni, from Yusuf ibn Sa’d, from Aisha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, likewise.
