Hammad ibn Mas’ada told us -- and Abdullah told us, he said al-Qawariri told us, he said Yahya ibn Sa’id told us, from Ash’ath, from al-Hasan, from Sa’d ibn Hisham, from Aisha, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade celibacy (total abstention from marriage).
