حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ يَمَانِيَةٍ بِيضٍ كُرْسُفٍ يَعْنِي قُطْنًا قَالَتْ لَيْسَ فِي كَفَنِهِ قَمِيصٌ وَلَا عِمَامَةٌ.

Waki' narrated to us, he said: Hisham ibn Urwah narrated to us, from his father, from Aisha, who said: When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed away, he was shrouded in three white Yemeni garments of cotton. She said: There was no shirt or turban in his shroud.
